Self Catering Apartments East End

The East End of Edinburgh is one of the most vibrant and up-and-coming parts of the city. Taking in genteel suburbs such as Meadowbank and Bellevue, and elegant streets such as Royal Terrace, Hillside Crescent and Regent Terrace, home of the US Consulate in Edinburgh.

The East End of Edinburgh borders the New Town and much of the architecture is of the same attractive genre as the New Town, with many handsome Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian terraces. Coffee shops and delicatessens are plentiful to cater for an affluent local population and it is a short walk to the city centre and its countless attractions. The Scottish Parliament building is nearby, and there are many enjoyable walks to be had from the area, including strolls around Holyrood Park, and if you feel brave and fit enough, a bracing walk up Arthur’s Seat or Salisbury Crags.

Also a short walk away is Leith, an historic district down by the waterfront, which has been regenerated in recent years and which now boasts luxury apartments, Michelin-starred restaurants and buzzing bars alongside the river, along with a number of excellent tourist attractions and shopping opportunities at the Ocean Terminal shopping mall.

Access to the main business districts of Edinburgh is easy from the East End and you can be at your desk in the New Town or Lothian Road in under 20 minutes’ walk. It is a prominent bus route and taxis are easy to get hold of in the East End. Edinburgh Waverley railway station is a short trip away and can give you access to many of the UK’s major cities. From here, you can get bus or taxis to Edinburgh International Airport.

The East End of Edinburgh is a vibrant and exciting area of the city to live in, with plenty of high quality amenities on its doorstep. CORPORATE LETS EDINBURGH has a range of apartments in Edinburgh’s East End.
